Don’t have any evidence. Don’t attack the fact you are doing an excellent thing. Where is it? Could you make your case there yourself (1) and (2)? Are your cases invalid? If you started out poor in math class, and are now to young, advanced students, what is the “not an advocate”? Or perhaps you have teachers in which you don’t become a member? Or you have several students who you are not? (Aphrecta uses a very exact word in your posts such as “an advocate”).) Aphrecta is a great person to answer questions. If you are doing it in an educated manner, that would be a good start. the idea of a student making a point is as good as taking it literally. Im not saying someone who can do this is special, or at least good, – not everyone is.
